Kofo Dara was born in Lagos, Nigeria in 1998 and spent her childhood in Longford, Ireland. She is a multidisciplinary artist and a Presidential Scholar alumnus of Georgia State University. Her first solo exhibition was at Georgia State University in 2017, and to date Kofo has had her works shown at Art Basel, Callanwolde Fine Arts Gallery and the Nina Baldwin Gallery in Atlanta and various art exhibitions throughout Atlanta. She also has her work in private collections and has been featured in Atlanta Creative Arts magazine Creative Loafing.

Kofo creates primarily Afro-Surrealist paintings and sculptures, with her work in recent years being focused on her experience as an immigrant and a member of the Black Diaspora coming of age in contemporary society.
